MTN Walk the Talk with 702 announces a new route

What should you expect from the 25km route?

The special 25km walk will extend beyond iconic landmarks such as the Nelson Mandela Bridge and Constitution Hill and take you through several suburbs, passing through the Johannesburg Zoo, the Anglo Boer War Memorialand Zoo Lake.

The 25km route will break off onto Oxford Road from the 15km and carry on alongside the M1 into Forest Town.

The experience of being on a once-off route will be one that would not want to miss out on.

The route will consist of a total of 7 water points along the way with the final water point being at the finish line. The water points will consist of water and coke for all the walkers, to help revitalise their energy.

What do you get for your entry fee?

It’s been 25 years of democracy and MTN and 702, together with City of Joburg, wanted to make sure that all our walkers could be part of the celebration… and we included the 25km walk!

The special 25km walk will cost R399 per person and it is open for everyone over the age of 16 years old.

Can a company team enter this distance?

Yes! Walking is more fun when there are two or more people. It gets the conversation going and you can get to catch up with old friends a cool winter's Sunday morning.

There is an opportunity for you to get a group of friends, family members or even work colleagues to walk on Walk the Talk Sunday.
