It's known as one of the world's biggest walking events and it's been a roaring success again this year - You did it!

Around 55 000 people walked the talk in Johannesburg on Sunday.

With four distances ranging from 5-25 kilometres, everyone from families with kids and dogs to teams promoting their charity or cause of choice, put their best foot forward.

This 18th edition of MTN Walk the Talk with 702 also celebrated 25 years of democracy and the special 25 km route took participants past some of Joburg's best-known landmarks, including Nelson Mandela's house.

Walkers loved every minute, tweeting their excitement at being part of the action.
