Wheelchair entrants, prams and dogs are regrettably only permitted on the 5km and 8km routes due to the nature of the 15km route. All distances are NOT timed.

PARKING: There will be ample, safe and free parking available at Johannesburg Botanical Gardens on Thomas Bowler Road. There will also be corporate bus parking at Roosevelt Park High School on Thomas Bowler Road.

Avoid the traffic – Park and Ride to the Walk the Talk!

The cost of the bus ride is R 95 per person – return.
University of Johannesburg ticket is R 75 per person – return.

There are eight Park and Ride zones:

  • Sandton
  • Heathway Centre, Blackheath
  • Melrose Arch
  • Nasrec
  • Eastgate Shopping Centre
  • Montecasino
  • Clearwater Shopping Centre

You can book for a Park and Ride on the entry system when entering online.
Your ticket for the Park and Ride is only guaranteed once payment has been made.

The first bus departs at 05h30 – be aware that there may be traffic to the venue and you should allow travel time to the venue.
The first bus departs at 10h00 back to the zone.
The buses will depart every 30 minutes between or when the bus is full.
The bus departure points will be clearly marked for your convenience.
Please return to the same place where the bus dropped you off, (along Louw Geldenhuys) once the event is over, in order to complete the return journey.
